CLEARFORK-Charles McClanahan 77, departed this life Saturday, March 6, 2010 at CAMC following a short illness.
Born January 3, 1933, in Boone County he was the son of the late Lee and Sadie Jewell McClanahan.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sons, Bobby and Kenneth Green.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Violet Gibson McClanahan; five sons, Randall Green and wife Joe of Sun Hill, Jimmy Green of Cyclone, Lester Green of Lynco, Dewey McClanahan of Pineville and David McClanahan and wife, Donna of Clear Fork; five daughters, Truby Carper of Baileysville, Barbara Demspey and husband, Joe of Sun Hill, Janice Graham and husband, Robert of Norfork, Alice Toler and husband, Homer of Sun Hill and Kimberly Daughtery of Sun Hill; several grandchildren;
A celebration of Charles' life will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at Clear Fork Independant Church of God with Rev. Junior Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow in Workman Cemetery Bald Knob.
Casketbearers will be family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at the church.
